NIO's intelligent electric mini-car brand, Firefly, made its Thai debut with a right-hand drive model at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show. The vehicle is priced at approximately 168,000 yuan, nearly 30,000 yuan more than its starting price in the Chinese market. Imported as a complete unit and built on NIO's FT1 platform, the new model boasts a rear-mounted single motor and a lithium iron phosphate battery, delivering an estimated range of around 330km under WLTP conditions, along with fast-charging capabilities.

In terms of smart features, the car is outfitted with an LCD instrument panel and a central control screen, both powered by the Qualcomm 8155 chip, offering a wide array of functionalities. Firefly has appointed a company under the Thonburi Group as its general agent in Thailand, adhering to its "national general agent model." This strategic move signifies Firefly's entry into Southeast Asia's second-largest right-hand drive market, propelling its global expansion forward. Presently, Firefly operates in 10 countries worldwide and has ambitions to expand into nearly 40 markets, having already garnered numerous accolades.
