Recently, the official accounts of Autohome, a premier automotive internet service platform in China, have encountered restrictions on acquiring new followers across several social media platforms. Representatives from the customer service teams of these platforms indicated that such blocks typically arise from violations detected in comment section interactions. Back in January of this year, Autohome drew attention from the Cyberspace Administration of China due to evaluations that did not comply with regulations. Presently, its accounts on platforms like Weibo, Douyin, Kuaishou, and Bilibili are unable to attract new followers. On some platforms, messages indicating 'account abnormality' or 'violation of community guidelines' are being displayed. The latest content update on video platforms was recorded on January 23rd. Autohome’s official customer service has assured that the affected accounts will soon be restored to normal operations. However, they have refrained from providing specific details regarding the reasons behind the block or the precise timeline for the restoration.
