On March 19, WeRide forged a strategic partnership at the national level with ELEVATE Slovakia, marking the official commencement of Slovakia’s inaugural autonomous driving project. This initiative stands as Europe’s first large-scale commercialization endeavor for autonomous driving, propelled by nationwide efforts and encompassing a diverse array of product lines. With this expansion, Slovakia emerges as WeRide’s fourth European market, following France, Belgium, and Switzerland, thereby extending the company’s global footprint to 12 countries and over 40 cities worldwide.
