On March 19, Mazda Motor Corporation announced that its system used to manage the operations of its parts procurement warehouse in Thailand had been subjected to unauthorized external access. Upon discovery, the company immediately implemented security measures and collaborated with external professional agencies to conduct an investigation. It has been confirmed that the personal information of some employees from the company, its subsidiaries, and business partners may have been leaked. Mazda extends its apologies for this incident and states that it will continue to strengthen its information security system, enhance monitoring of external access, and tighten communication controls.
