On March 18, Xin Guobin, the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, held a meeting with Peter Wilson, the British Ambassador to China, in Beijing. During the meeting, both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange of views regarding the strengthening of industrial cooperation. Xin Guobin emphasized that China's industrial economic system is comprehensive, resilient, and possesses immense potential, offering a more expansive arena for the growth of enterprises from diverse countries within China. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is keen to collaborate with the UK in realizing the consensus established by the leaders of both nations. This collaboration aims to deepen cooperation in sectors such as automotive, green and low-carbon development, and the digital economy, thereby forging a high-standard Sino-British modern industrial partnership to attain mutual prosperity. In response, Peter Wilson stated that the UK is also eager to work alongside China to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of both countries. This involves enhancing strategic alignment and policy coordination, jointly preparing for the third China-UK Industrial Cooperation Dialogue, broadening the scope and depth of cooperation, and sharing the benefits of development.
