Facing escalating losses in its automotive sector, Japan's Honda Motor Co. has devised a strategy to bolster its domestic product offerings by importing vehicles from the United States and China for distribution in Japan. Over the initial nine months of the fiscal year, Honda incurred a loss of ¥166.4 billion (roughly equivalent to $1.1 billion) in its automotive business. Consequently, the company is reevaluating its approach to heighten its competitive edge.
