On March 5, Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association, highlighted that in recent years, Chinese auto exports have maintained robust growth, coupled with an increasingly optimized regional export structure. The Middle East, Africa, and Oceania have emerged as the primary engines driving this expansion. Despite the frequent geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East, such as the ongoing clashes between Israel and its neighboring countries, Chinese auto exports to the region have continued to grow steadily. Chinese automakers have adeptly tailored their export strategies to local demands, focusing on export structure optimization, new energy vehicle deployment, and enhanced market competitiveness. This approach has facilitated a transition from mere product exports to in-depth brand building and cultivation.

Although the Iran crisis and logistical disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz have imposed short-term cost pressures, Cui believes these challenges are unlikely to erode the core competitive advantages of China's automotive supply chain. Chinese automakers' diversified and proactive response strategies are anticipated to be more effective than those of their international counterparts. Cui remains optimistic about the prospects of Chinese auto exports, asserting that short-term market disruptions in the Middle East will not derail the overall growth trajectory.
