In January 2026, this model boasted retail sales of 17,645 units, clinching the top position in the large SUV and vehicles priced over RMB 400,000 categories for two consecutive months. The General Manager of NIO Anhui mentioned that since its launch on September 20 of the previous year, the new ES8 has reached 60,000 unit deliveries in a mere 134 days. With a price range of RMB 406,800 to RMB 446,800, or RMB 298,800 to RMB 338,800 when opting for the battery leasing plan, it stands as one of the largest pure electric SUVs in the Chinese market. This vehicle is equipped with a lavish interior setup, delivers robust performance thanks to its full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, and comes standard with a 102kWh 4C battery pack, providing a CLTC range of up to 635km.
