The power turbine generator (PTG), independently developed by Hunan Tianyan Mechanical Co., Ltd., was successfully ignited recently, providing an innovative solution to the challenges of range and energy replenishment in new energy vehicles. Currently, new energy vehicles face hurdles in terms of range and energy replenishment, with users commonly experiencing range anxiety. As a modular auxiliary energy replenishment system, PTG enables rapid energy replenishment and enhances range capabilities. After more than a year of research and development, the R&D team achieved breakthroughs in multiple areas, with PTG offering significant advantages over traditional engine range extenders. In terms of gas turbine design, it has improved turbine efficiency; in electronic control components, it has resolved stability issues under high-temperature conditions. In the future, this system is expected to reduce the vehicle's reliance on batteries and can be expanded for use in multiple scenarios.
