Amidst German Chancellor Merz's visit to China, NIO and Bosch inked a strategic cooperation pact. This collaboration will encompass NIO's three principal brands—NIO, ONVO, and Firefly—with both entities embarking on a profound partnership in the core technological domains of intelligent electric vehicles, notably drive-by-wire chassis and battery management systems. NIO articulated that this alliance will spur collaborative innovation in critical technologies, propel the advancement of the industrial chain, and bolster Sino-German cooperation. Furthermore, on the afternoon of February 25, the Sino-German Economic Advisory Committee Symposium convened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, drawing over 60 delegates from Chinese and German enterprises. NIO's founder, William Li, was invited to partake as a representative of Chinese automotive companies.
