The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has rolled out an urgent directive, mandating Boeing to promptly address a flaw in the environmental control system of its 737 MAX series aircraft. This defect has the potential to elevate cabin temperatures to perilous levels. As per the documentation, there have been two instances during flights where the temperatures in both the cabin and cockpit soared excessively, and the flight crew found themselves unable to manage the situation using the existing operational protocols. In light of these events, the FAA issued an airworthiness directive on February 24, applicable to all Boeing 737 MAX fleets operating within the United States.
