The 'Zhi Fei,' China's inaugural intelligently navigated container ship engaged in commercial operations, precisely docked at the automated terminal of Qingdao Port in Shandong Province while operating in unmanned autonomous navigation mode. This event signifies China's first-ever accomplishment of fully unmanned operation throughout the entire process of container ship navigation, docking, and cargo handling. Upon docking, a vacuum-based automatic mooring system promptly secured the vessel. Simultaneously, the terminal's fully automated loading and unloading equipment collaborated seamlessly with a self-developed intelligent control system to execute container handling tasks. The 'Zhi Fei' is outfitted with a self-developed intelligent navigation core system, which offers three distinct navigation modes.
