On February 9, NIO made an official announcement via its WeChat account that, having reached a significant milestone of 100 million battery swap services, the company is poised to construct 1,000 new battery swap stations by 2026. This expansion will augment the total number of power replenishment routes to 100. Following the successful establishment of the G318 Sichuan-Tibet and Yunnan-Tibet battery swap routes last year, NIO is set to launch the Silk Road battery swap route this year as well.
