On February 4, Chitu α, an autonomous logistics vehicle developed by UQI, a smart logistics subsidiary of UBTECH, successfully completed the rollout of its initial batch of PVT (Production Validation Testing) units at Foxconn’s New Energy Vehicle R&D Center in Zhengzhou. The PVT phase is a crucial step in validating the vehicle’s readiness for large-scale production and delivery. Manufactured under Foxconn’s automotive-grade smart manufacturing system, this production run encompassed the entire closed-loop process of vehicle assembly, testing, and delivery, establishing a solid foundation for accelerated mass production and subsequent batch shipments.
