Moreover, California's Governor, Gavin Newsom, is set to unveil a $200 million incentive program for electric vehicles in early February. This move is intended to bridge the policy void created when the Trump administration revoked the federal electric vehicle tax credit via the 'Great and Beautiful Act' in October of the previous year.
