On January 27, Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the Passenger Car Association Branch, disclosed that the automotive industry's sales profit margin from January to December 2025 will drop to 4.1%, at a historical low and below the average level of 5.9% for downstream industrial enterprises. Among them, the profit margin in December will be only 1.8%, a month-on-month decrease of 2.6 percentage points and a year-on-year decrease of 2.3 percentage points, hitting a recent low.
