Pony.ai has entered into a business cooperation deal with AutoX. Together, they plan to construct a fleet of fully autonomous driving vehicles for travel services, utilizing Pony.ai's seventh-generation Robotaxi model. This fleet is designed to cater to urban commuting needs and shuttle services between airports and high-speed rail stations, thereby advancing the integration of autonomous driving technology in both urban and air-travel contexts. At present, the initial batch of autonomous driving vehicles, jointly developed by the two companies, has secured multi-tiered license approvals. These approvals encompass testing and demonstration applications for L4-level fully autonomous driving.
