On January 28th, sources revealed that Pony.ai-W (02026.HK) has inked a business cooperation pact with Atom Group. The aim is to jointly construct a fully autonomous travel service fleet and advance the utilization of autonomous driving technology in both urban and air-travel settings. This partnership extends the 'AI + Travel' service into the premium market segment.

At present, the two entities are concentrating on assembling a fully autonomous driving fleet centered around the seventh-generation Pony.ai Robotaxi model. This fleet is designed to meet requirements such as providing round-trip services between urban regions and airport high-speed rail stations.

As of now, the initial batch of autonomous driving fleets established through the joint efforts of the two parties has secured multi-tiered licenses. These encompass L4-level fully autonomous testing and demonstration applications. Moreover, they have received approval to offer taxi services to the general public in first-tier cities.
