On January 28th, NIO (09866.HK) made an announcement that the latest iteration of its 'NIO World Model NWM' has commenced its rollout, with the initial phase focusing on over 460,000 'Banyan' model vehicles. The 'Cedar' and 'Cedar S' models are also slated to receive this update in the foreseeable future. According to the official introduction, in this new version, NIO has pioneered the application of complete closed-loop reinforcement learning in the research and development of intelligent assisted driving systems in China. This advancement has enabled comprehensive modeling capabilities for both urban and highway pilot-assisted driving scenarios. Moreover, the new version introduces an urban pilot battery swap function, which is compatible with over 2,000 second-generation and above urban battery swap stations across the nation.
