Hyundai Motor Group, a prominent automotive conglomerate in South Korea, has unveiled its plan to integrate humanoid robots into its global manufacturing facilities starting in 2028. This initiative has, however, drawn a sharp and immediate response from the labor union. The union has voiced serious concerns, cautioning that such a move could lead to a substantial disruption in the employment landscape. It has firmly stated that no deployment of robots should take place at any production sites until a comprehensive and mutually acceptable agreement is forged with the company's management.
