On January 13, data released by the China Automobile Dealers Association revealed that in December 2025, the national second-hand car market achieved a transaction volume of 1.8711 million units. This marked a month-on-month increase of 7.15%, although it represented a year-on-year decrease of 1.53%. The total transaction amount for the month stood at 120.672 billion yuan. Looking at the entire year of 2025, the cumulative transaction volume of second-hand cars reached 20.108 million units, showing a year-on-year growth of 2.52%, with the cumulative transaction amount hitting 1,289.79 billion yuan.
