On January 10th, in response to inquiries from netizens, Xiaomi Vehicle made an announcement stating that every variant of the new - generation SU7 will come equipped with the Xiaomi Super Motor V6s Plus as standard.
At the outset, the motors will be sourced from 'United Automotive Electronics' and 'Inovance'. Later on, Xiaomi will roll out a version that it has developed and manufactured in - house. This move is aimed at boosting production efficiency and reducing delivery lead times.
The V6s Plus motor boasts a segmented magnet steel design. This design enhances the CLTC (China Light - Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) overall efficiency by 1.5%. It can reach a maximum speed of 22,000 RPM, increasing the wheel - end torque to 850 N·m. Moreover, it elevates the power output by 13 kW and keeps the efficiency degradation at low temperatures within 1%.
