On January 10th, it was reported that at the beginning of 2026, a new round of competition has kicked off in China's automotive market. On one hand, car companies are offering promotional discounts; on the other hand, they are launching facelifted models with added features without increasing prices. Compared to last year, the competition in the automotive market this year is fiercer and has arrived earlier. According to incomplete statistics, since January 1st, over 20 car companies with more than 75 models have launched time-limited promotional activities in various forms. Some models offer direct cash subsidies, some are sold at a "fixed price," some provide 3-year or 5-year interest-free financial loans, and some models offer additional trade-in subsidies, providing "extra discounts on top of discounts."
