On January 5th, 2026 (local time), during CES 2026—the renowned International Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas, USA—Hesai Technology made a significant announcement. In response to the soaring demand for LiDAR in the ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and robotics industries, the company has formulated plans to ramp up its annual production capacity. Specifically, it aims to elevate the capacity from 2 million units in 2025 to a staggering 4 million units in 2026, marking a remarkable 100% increase. Furthermore, the construction of Hesai's state-of-the-art factory in Bangkok, Thailand, is advancing smoothly, with production slated to kick off in early 2027.
