On January 5, as per the latest statistical data released by the China Passenger Car Association, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory dispatched more than 97,100 vehicles in December 2025. This figure reflects an 11% month-on-month growth and sets a new single-month record for the year 2025. It's projected that Tesla's domestic sales in China for the same month reached around 94,000 vehicles, showing a roughly 13% year-on-year surge. The statistics reveal that Tesla delivered approximately 1.636 million electric vehicles globally in 2025. Among these, the Shanghai Gigafactory contributed 851,000 units, constituting 52% of the total global deliveries. This solidifies its status as the world's foremost export hub.
