In a document, the CPCA Branch announced that China's new energy passenger vehicle market is projected to experience around a 25% growth in sales in 2025. This growth is set to successfully meet the anticipated expansion for the new energy vehicle market during the '14th Five-Year Plan' period. After conducting a thorough assessment of the preliminary monthly data, it was found that from December 1st to 31st, the nationwide wholesale volume of new energy vehicles from passenger vehicle manufacturers amounted to 1.57 million units. This figure reflects a 4% year-on-year increase but an 8% month-on-month decrease. Over the entire course of 2025, the cumulative wholesale volume of new energy passenger vehicles stood at 15.33 million units, marking a 25% year-on-year increase.
