According to reports from Shanghai Metals Market, the board of directors at Korean electrolyte supplier Enchem has given the green light to a five-year electrolyte supply pact with CATL. Under the terms of this agreement, Enchem is set to supply CATL with a cumulative total of 350,000 metric tons of electrolyte over the period from 2026 to 2030.
In response to inquiries, Enchem stated that for details regarding relevant matters, one should refer to the official announcement. The company also highlighted that this collaboration is expected to substantially boost its sales, profits, capacity utilization rates, and market share starting from 2026. To ensure smooth contract execution, Enchem is currently in the process of devising plans for capacity expansion and making necessary adjustments to its supply chain.
