On December 30, CATL's official WeChat account released a statement indicating that in 2025, the company would construct 1,020 Chocolate Battery Swap Stations and 305 Qiji Battery Swap Stations, both surpassing their respective annual targets. Looking ahead to 2026, the Chocolate Battery Swap service is poised to establish over 3,000 battery swap stations across more than 140 cities. Additionally, it will kick off the construction of an expressway network, with the ambitious long-term vision of expanding to 30,000 stations and opening up franchising opportunities. Concurrently, the Qiji Battery Swap service has set its sights on building a cumulative total of 900 battery swap stations by 2026. This expansion will extend the main routes to encompass the 'five horizontal and five vertical' corridors. By 2030, the service aims to create an 'eight horizontal and ten vertical' green network, covering 80% of the nation's primary route transportation capacity.
