On the significant milestone of Leapmotor's 10th anniversary, its founder, Zhu Jiangming, penned a heartfelt letter to all staff members. In this letter, he emphasized that the company would no longer label itself as a mere "new force" in the automotive industry. Instead, it would strive to meet the rigorous standards of a globally renowned automotive enterprise. Furthermore, Zhu Jiangming unveiled four pivotal work priorities for the year 2026: driving technological innovation, relentlessly pursuing ultimate product quality, expanding aggressively into overseas markets, and fostering an efficient and agile organizational structure.
Since its inception in 2015, Leapmotor has made remarkable strides, achieving a self-research and self-manufacturing ratio of 65% for its core components. The company is projected to sell nearly 600,000 vehicles in 2025, with overseas sales accounting for approximately 60,000 units. Cumulative sales are expected to surpass the 1.2 million mark. Notably, Leapmotor has achieved consecutive quarterly profits and is well on its way to realizing its first annual profit. In a testament to its robust sales performance, the company has already exceeded its annual sales target of 500,000 vehicles in November, prompting it to set an ambitious sales goal of 1 million vehicles for 2026.
In addition to these milestones, Leapmotor has announced that it will host its 10th-anniversary celebration in Hangzhou on December 28. During this event, the company will unveil its strategic plan for the next decade and provide an in-depth look at its flagship D-series products.
