On December 23, ZF Group made public its intention to divest its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) division to Harman. This division covers a broad spectrum of offerings, including computing solutions, intelligent camera systems, radar technologies, and ADAS software capabilities. Notably, ZF will maintain its foothold in chassis electronic components and electronic parts for passive safety systems. Moreover, the company is set to further develop its driver assistance and autonomous driving initiatives within the commercial vehicle domain. The two entities have settled on an acquisition price of €1.5 billion. However, the deal's completion hinges on securing the requisite regulatory clearances.
