National Energy Administration: By End-November 2025, China’s EV Charging Infrastructure (Guns) Hits 19.322 Million, Marking a 52.0% Year-on-Year Surge

The National Energy Administration has published data regarding China’s electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities for November 2025. Based on statistics from the national charging infrastructure monitoring and service platform, as of the end of November, the total count of EV charging infrastructure units (guns) in China had climbed to 19.322 million, reflecting a 52% year-on-year uptick. Of this total, public charging facilities (guns) numbered 4.625 million, showing a 36% increase compared to the same period last year. The combined rated power of these public charging stations stood at 210 million kilowatts, averaging approximately 45.34 kilowatts per station. Meanwhile, private charging facilities (guns) reached 14.697 million, up by 57.8% year-on-year, with a reported installed power capacity of 129 million kilovolt-amperes.
