As reported by Xinhua News Agency on December 22, Baidu's autonomous travel service platform, 'Luobo Kuaipao,' has declared its intention to partner with a premier global travel platform. This collaboration aims to initiate self-driving testing and travel services in London, UK, by 2026. This move signifies Luobo Kuaipao's inaugural foray into a right-hand drive market beyond Hong Kong, China. Prior to this, Luobo Kuaipao had already achieved a significant milestone by obtaining the inaugural pilot license for autonomous vehicles in Hong Kong, China. It subsequently expanded its testing zones within the city on four separate occasions, gathering invaluable data and amassing safe operational experience. These efforts have collectively laid a robust technical groundwork for its upcoming venture in London.
