Today, Porsche China verified that it will begin the phased decommissioning of its self-constructed charging network from March 1, 2026, a move that will affect roughly 200 charging stations. Based on the 'User Notification on the Cessation of Porsche Premium Charging' that reporters have acquired, the Porsche Premium Charging service, which encompasses all self-built high-power DC charging stations, will be discontinued. Subsequently, these stations will be removed from the charging maps displayed on both the Porsche App and the WeChat Mini Program. Porsche China clarified that, commencing March 1, 2026, it will embark on a systematic dismantling of its premium charging service facilities. In a strategic pivot, the company will seek in-depth collaboration with top-tier charging operators within the industry.
