Zhao Yongpo, who currently serves as the General Manager of the Great Wall Haval brand, is slated to take the helm as CEO of WEY. He has also revealed that a launch event for the all-new WEY Laishan Intelligent Advanced Edition is scheduled to take place at 7:00 PM on December 22. At present, Feng Fuzhi, the CEO of Great Wall WEY, is on a leave of absence, prompting Zhao Yongpo to step in and fill his shoes temporarily. In the meantime, organizational reshuffles are also in progress within WEY's new energy division. Since its inception in 2016, WEY has witnessed eight CEO transitions over the course of nine years, with Feng Fuzhi making his first appearance as WEY's CEO on May 20 of this year. Zhao Yongpo has been at the forefront of the Haval brand as its General Manager since November 1, 2023, and additionally, he held the concurrent position of General Manager for the Ora brand from February to June this year.
