On December 15, Malaysian auto parts manufacturer EPMB announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary had signed an agreement with XPENG Motors on December 12. The two parties will collaborate on the research and development, manufacturing, production, and assembly of specific vehicle projects in Malaysia. The subsidiary will assemble the G6 model and X9 model (including the X9 extended-range electric vehicle version) for XPENG Motors. The G6 model is planned to commence production before March 31, 2026, and the X9 model is planned to commence production before May 25, 2026.
