On December 9th, Mercedes-Benz announced its collaboration with autonomous driving company Momenta and local UAE taxi company Lumo to launch a luxury robotaxi service in Abu Dhabi. The service fleet, based on the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, is scheduled to officially commence operations in Abu Dhabi next year and gradually expand to other global markets.
