From January to October 2025, the registration volume of pure electric vehicles in Europe reached 2.02 million units, marking a year-on-year increase of 26.2% and raising the market share to 18.3%. Nordic countries are at the forefront of electric vehicle adoption, with Norway having a nearly 95% market share for new pure electric vehicles, while countries like Denmark maintain a stable share between 30% and 60%. The UK, France, and Germany have market shares of 22%, 19%, and 18%, respectively. This year, the electric vehicle markets in Southern Europe and some Central European countries have also shown growth. Germany and the UK, as the two pillars of Europe's electric vehicle market, jointly sold over 800,000 units in the first 10 months, maintaining double-digit year-on-year growth.
