On December 5, Yadea Electric Vehicle released a statement, offering an apology for the design flaws observed in the 'Mao Dou' model, which was developed in compliance with the new national standards. The 'Single-Person Commuter Version' of this particular model, which is already available in the market, has triggered concerns and misconceptions among consumers. This is primarily because its design is centered around meeting basic commuting requirements, which has led to problems such as the inability to transport children and insufficient storage capacity. Consequently, some individuals have even cast doubts on the new national standard policy. Yadea clarified that these issues arose due to a misinterpretation of the implementation requirements, along with a lack of synchronization in the launch timelines of different versions and inadequate consideration during the design phase. Presently, the 'Mao Dou' series also encompasses the 'Fashion Version' and the 'Parent-Child Mom Version,' both of which are set to be introduced in stages to cater to a wider range of users. Yadea affirmed its commitment to continually enhancing its products and services, strictly adhering to the new national standards. The company has already introduced a cumulative total of 68 products that comply with these standards and have secured 3C certification. Furthermore, Yadea is expediting mass production to effectively meet user demand.
