On December 5th, Ledo Automobile rolled out its ambitious national battery swap station initiative, dubbed the "Battery Capacity Doubling Plan." This plan entails injecting over 8,000 new battery packs into the existing battery swap network, with a notable inclusion of 4,500 units boasting an 85kWh capacity. The entire additional investment is slated for completion by mid-January 2026. Once implemented, this strategic move will effectively double the total battery inventory within the national battery swap framework. Consequently, it will adeptly cater to the surging demand for energy replenishment during the peak travel period of the 2026 Spring Festival, while also accommodating the anticipated upsurge in user numbers.
