Recently, a peculiar and widespread issue has struck hundreds of Porsche cars in various regions across Russia. These vehicles have suddenly suffered power failures. According to reports from both owners and dealers, starting from November 28, Porsche cars in cities including Moscow and Krasnodar have been plagued by problems such as engine shutdowns and interruptions in fuel supply. As a result, these cars are unable to start or move an inch.

This malfunction mainly impacts Porsche models manufactured after 2013. These models are equipped with the factory - installed VTS satellite security system, and the issue cuts across all models and engine types. The root cause of this malfunction is likely linked to a disruption in satellite connectivity.

Some owners have managed to restore the cars' functionality by either disabling or restarting the VTS system. However, a number of vehicles have remained out of commission for extended durations. Rolf, the largest car dealer in Russia, has stated that experts are currently delving into the matter to identify the root cause. Meanwhile, both Porsche's Russian and German headquarters have remained tight - lipped and have not issued any comments so far.

Furthermore, similar malfunctions have also been reported in some Mercedes - Benz, Audi, and Volkswagen models.
