On December 1st, GAC Aion's UT Super marked a significant milestone by delivering its 1,000th vehicle in Beijing, achieving an impressive sales figure of over 1,000 units within just its first week of availability. On this momentous day, GAC, CATL, and JD.com convened a 'Listening and Advising' symposium focused on the Aion UT Super. During the symposium, GAC Aion extended a sincere apology for the oversight in content review that led to the misrepresentation of a 'sunroof image.'
The three companies jointly announced the introduction of four key initiatives. These include offering an enhanced service package valued at 2,600 yuan, broadening the geographic scope for invoice issuance, and refining refund and cancellation policies to better serve customers.
Earlier, on October 14th, JD.com had announced a strategic partnership with GAC and CATL to unveil the 'National Good Car,' the Aion UT Super. This model was officially launched on November 9th. The vehicle boasts an impressive range of up to 500 kilometers. Under the battery leasing model, the purchase price is set at 49,900 yuan, with a monthly battery rental fee of 399 yuan.
Addressing user concerns regarding the basic mileage, Times Electric Service clarified that 3,000 kilometers is a reasonable expectation. Furthermore, the three companies will introduce a service offering '1,000 kilometers for 50 yuan' to enhance customer value. JD Auto also mentioned that efforts are underway to expand the number of cities eligible for invoice issuance. Additionally, the subsidy policy in Guangzhou will be extended until the end of January next year, providing further incentives for potential buyers.
