On December 2, reports surfaced indicating that Tesla's sales in several European countries continued their downward trajectory in November, accompanied by a decrease in market share in nations where there is a robust appetite for electric vehicles. Data from the French Automobile Manufacturers Association revealed that Tesla's new car sales in France plummeted by 58% year-on-year in November of the previous year, with sales figures just shy of 1,600 units. France stands as the second-largest automotive market in the EU, trailing only Germany. Simultaneously, Tesla witnessed a 49% decline in sales in Denmark and a 59% drop in Sweden. However, the Norwegian market stood out as an exception, with Tesla registrations soaring by 175% in November, a surge partly attributed to the uncertainty surrounding future tax reduction (or tax relief) policies for electric vehicles.
