On December 1, NIO's official communication channel, "Little Loudspeaker," released a statement concerning a vehicle collision incident that occurred in Shanghai. At approximately 1:15 PM on the same day, a NIO EC6 was involved in a collision with another vehicle traveling in the same direction near Chuiyao Road, Qingpu District, Shanghai. Subsequently, the NIO EC6 crashed at high speed into a concrete barrier on the right side of the road, causing significant damage to both the barrier and the vehicle.
Upon receiving an alert from the vehicle's safety system, NIO's staff promptly arrived at the accident scene and the hospital to offer assistance to those involved. At present, both individuals have received prompt medical care and are no longer in life-threatening condition.
