Recently, the Maserati Grecale all-electric variant (Folgore) has garnered significant attention owing to its substantial price cuts. Dealership posters from various regions reveal that the base price of this model now commences at 358,800 yuan, marking a staggering direct price reduction of over 500,000 yuan from its official guide price of 898,800 yuan, with the final on-the-road price hovering around 400,000 yuan. This price slash is applicable in cities like Shanghai, Suzhou, and Shenyang, with certain dealers attributing these discounts to store inaugurations or time-limited promotions.

As Maserati's inaugural all-electric SUV, the Grecale Folgore is outfitted with CATL batteries, boasting a CLTC range of 533 kilometers and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of merely 4.1 seconds. Despite the price reduction placing it within the 300,000-400,000 yuan bracket, thereby positioning it to compete with emerging models like the NIO ES6 and Xiaomi YU7, Maserati China's sales figures continue to plummet. From January to September this year, there was a 3% year-on-year decrease in imported vehicle sales. The management has seen three leadership changes in the span of two years, and the impact of its electrification transformation and brand rejuvenation strategies are yet to be fully realized.
