In October, Tesla's vehicle sales in China plummeted to the lowest point in almost three years, sparking widespread concerns in the market that the company could face its first-ever annual sales slump in the Chinese market. The intense competition from domestic brands like NIO and Li Auto, along with an economic slowdown that ignited a price war, led to Tesla selling a mere 26,006 vehicles in China last month. As a result, its market share in China's electric vehicle sector dipped from 8.7% in September to a mere 3.2% in October.
