On November 18, the right-hand drive versions of Firefly, a premium compact car brand under NIO, officially commenced mass production. The initial batch of these vehicles is set to be dispatched to Singapore.
On November 21, during the Guangzhou Auto Show, Li Bin, the founder of NIO, announced that LEADAO would also be launching right-hand drive models down the line, though it would require some time for this to materialize. Moreover, Li Bin made a bold forecast, stating that by 2030, new energy vehicles in China are expected to constitute more than 90% of all new car sales.
