Xiaomi’s founder, Lei Jun, revealed that the company’s Integrated Assisted Driving System has seen swift evolution since its debut in April of the previous year. Now upgraded to Version 4, known as the HAD Enhanced Edition, this system is poised for release in the near future. At the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, Xiaomi Automobile officially introduced the ‘Xiaomi HAD Enhanced Edition.’

This iteration incorporates ‘reinforcement learning’ techniques and is built upon a foundation of 10 million video clips, featuring a world model that has already garnered recognition from leading global academic institutions. Regarding functional enhancements, the ‘AEB Collision Avoidance Assist’ now encompasses low-speed collision avoidance in both forward and reverse directions, while also broadening its scope for target object identification. Meanwhile, the ‘AES Emergency Steering Assist’ is capable of automatically maneuvering to avert collisions when AEB is insufficient, and it has successfully cleared the safety assist function test administered by China Automotive Research.
