On November 6, during the 2025 China Automobile Dealers Association Development Forum, Xiao Zhengsan, the President of the China Automobile Dealers Association, highlighted a significant issue. He noted that the current objectives and strategies set by numerous brand manufacturers concerning vehicle and parts supply, inventory structure, and after-sales support are starkly misaligned with the realities of the market. This misalignment has created a paradoxical scenario where, despite enhanced production capacities, both revenues and profits have seen a downturn, severely deteriorating the ecological landscape of the automotive industry supply chain.
As the vanguard of market competition, dealers are now confronting a dire predicament. This situation is a concentrated manifestation of the myriad developmental challenges and contradictions plaguing the circulation sector amidst the automotive market's transformation, upgrading, and profound restructuring. To navigate this intricate landscape, it is imperative to bolster support for dealers.
Xiao Zhengsan articulated that the association will prioritize advancing efforts in three pivotal domains: revamping channel value, rebuilding harmonious relationships between manufacturers and dealers, and fostering growth in the used car and automotive finance sectors. This strategic focus aims to address the root causes of the industry's woes and pave the way for a more sustainable and prosperous future.
