Recently, a report from Canada's Toronto Star on November 1st revealed that the Canadian transportation department has issued a recall notice. Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation is recalling 99,178 vehicles in Canada, encompassing over 30 models, including those under the Lexus brand. The root cause of this recall lies in software glitches within the vehicles, which may lead to the rear-view camera failing to display correctly under specific conditions. It's important to note that this recall specifically targets vehicles equipped with a panoramic view monitoring system. Toyota dealers will provide complimentary software updates for affected customers. Furthermore, Toyota has committed to notifying all relevant customers by the end of December this year.
