The root cause of this recall lies in software glitches within the vehicles, which may lead to the rear-view camera failing to display correctly under specific conditions. It's important to note that this recall specifically targets vehicles equipped with a panoramic view monitoring system. Toyota dealers will provide complimentary software updates for affected customers. Furthermore, Toyota has committed to notifying all relevant customers by the end of December this year.
