On September 26, Xiaomi made an official announcement in the Xiaomi Auto Community, encouraging car owners who had been impacted by cyberattacks to share their details and unite in protecting their rights via legal means. On October 31, the community released an update on the situation. By 24:00 on October 30, a total of 12,237 individuals had filled out the information - gathering form for special assistance aimed at Xiaomi car owners affected by cyberattacks, out of which 819 had submitted pertinent evidence. The types of assistance required were as follows: 638 car owners needed guidance on how to properly preserve evidence, 556 requested lawyer's letters to be issued, and 448 sought litigation support. At present, support has been given to assist nine car owners in submitting filing applications to the court.
